Each day is jam packed with a variety of activities introducing visitors to important messages around species conservation, water protection including flooding and drought management, and habitat enhancement.”
Activities Include:
Make a paper pot and bring home a wildflower for bees and butterflies
Meet live falcons and Ontario reptiles and amphibians at risk
Learn about water bugs and meet some creek critters
Learn about your watershed with our watershed model
Examine natural items at the nature discovery table
Create art in nature
Paddling Puppeteer show starts at 11:30 am
Each event is free to attend. Donations for Quinte Conservation’s educational programs are greatly appreciated.
In order for your child to participate in a Wild About Wildlife day, they must be accompanied by an adult. Maya Navrot adds, “We hope you have the opportunity to come out to this free, and fun educational day.”
