PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: SALAMANDER SHOWS
WHAT: Quinte Conservation will be hosting award-winning Salamander Conservationist Matt Ellerbeck (A.K.A The Salamander Man) for an insightful and educational presentation on salamanders.
WHERE: Quinte Conservation Office, 2061 Old Highway 2, Belleville, ON
WHEN: Friday, May 5 at 3:00pm and 4:00pm
SEE: Jennifer May-Anderson, Communications Manager
DETAILS: This will be a great opportunity to photograph and interview adults and children interacting with live salamanders and to speak to Matt Ellerbeck. This event is part of an initiative started by the Foundation for the Conservation of Salamanders to raise awareness about salamanders, their habitats, and their role in the ecosystem. The presentations will feature many live salamanders for visitors to meet, including both local and exotic species.
