LOCAL COMPANY AGAIN LEADS BOARDWALK BUILD FOR QUINTE CONSERVATION

A local company known for their work on custom homes and renovations has made a big impact with a special project at North Potter’s Creek Conservation Area.

Late last month, Alair Belleville employees volunteered their time for the third-annual Quinte Conservation Boardwalk Build, a local environmental initiative that has had a significant impact on our community.

This year, Alair and a dedicated group of volunteers completed an additional 210 feet of boardwalk, bringing the total to 650 feet built to date. The project’s goal is to enhance access to Belleville’s natural beauty while protecting the sensitive wetlands of North Potter’s Creek Conservation Area.

The event, hosted by Brendan, Simon, and Peter of Alair Belleville, was not only a demonstration of environmental stewardship but also a fantastic team-building experience, drawing support from Alair Georgian Bay and Alair Collingwood.

Volunteers braved the elements to build the boardwalk that will allow visitors to safely explore the area, reinforcing a deep connection to nature while preserving its integrity.

Officials with Alair Belleville say they were thrilled to volunteer again this year because they believe this initiative reflects the best of what Belleville and its business community can do when we come together for a good cause.
