FALL DAM DRAWDOWN STARTS OCTOBER 15, 2024

Quinte Conservation is conducting the annual Fall Dam Drawdown in the Moira and Napanee regions on, or after, Tuesday, October 15. Shoreline residents can expect changing water levels above and below the following structures:

Moira Region
•Caton's Weir situated below Stoco Lake
•Deerock Lake Dam
•Downey's Rapids Weir situated below Moira Lake
•Lingham Lake Dam
•O’Hara Mill Dam
•Skootamatta Lake Dam

Napanee Region

•13 Island Lake Dam
•Bellrock Dam
•James Lazier Dam
•Laraby Rapids Dam situated below Beaver Lake
•Middle Arden Dam
•Second Depot Lake Dam
•Upper Arden Dam situated below Big Clear Lake
•Varty Lake Dam

Property owners upstream from these structures can expect water levels to decrease to normal fall levels and should ensure that all boats, floating docks, etc., have been removed before Monday, October 14, 2024.
