EXPECTED RAIN MAY CAUSE NUISANCE FLOODING AND PONDING IN LOW-LYING AREAS
A substantial amount of rain combined with freezing rain and ice accumulation is expected to fall in the Quinte Watershed over the weekend and into the beginning of next week. Significant run-off is expected and excess rain may cause nuisance flooding and ponding in low-lying areas.
Lakes and rivers will see an increase in water levels, however flooding is not expected on these water...

A group of Loyalist College Public Relations students have teamed up with Quinte Conservation to host Step into Spring, an activity filled day at Potter’s Creek Conservation Area on March 24, 2018 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

WATER SAFETY STATEMENT UPDATE FOR QUINTE CONSERVATION WATERSHED
Snow melt and rainfall caused water levels to rise across the Quinte Conservation watershed this past week.
Water Resources Manager Christine McClure says, “Small Creeks have peaked and their water levels have started to recede.”
