As part of Quinte Conservation’s 70th Anniversary celebrations, the local environmental organization is hosting a photo contest. The contest is open until October 31, 2017 and contestants can submit their photographs from any of Quinte Conservation’s 23 conservation areas for their chance to win one of six prize packages. QUINTE CONSERVATION HAS REMOVED THE FLOOD WATCH FOR LAKE ONTARIO AND THE BAY OF QUINTE
Water levels have been lowering steadily since June and although they are high for this time of year, there is no longer a concern for flooding.

FLOOD WATCH FOR BAY OF QUINTE AND LAKE ONTARIO SHORELINES IN THE QUINTE CONSERVATION WATERSHED
Quinte Conservation is downgrading from a flood warning to a flood watch for the Bay of Quinte and Lake Ontario Shorelines within the Quinte Conservation Watershed.
