QUINTE CONSERVATION ISSUES A FLOOD WARNING FOR MOIRA RIVER AND NAPANEE RIVERWATERSHEDS – UPDATE #1
Water levels on the Moira River from Stoco Lake to Corbyville are continuing to rise and are expected to peak by Sunday, April 9th. Quinte Conservation forecasts that water levels in this section of the river will be comparable to those of 2017.

QUINTE CONSERVATION ISSUES A FLOOD WARNING FOR MOIRA RIVER AND NAPANEE RIVER WATERSHEDS
Yesterday’s rainfall of approximately 40 millimetres, along with significant snowmelt have caused a sharp rise in water levels on the upper Moira, Black, Skootamatta, Salmon, and Napanee Rivers. Lake levels in the northern regions of the watershed have also responded quickly to the rainfall.
