QUINTE CONSERVATION ISSUES LOW WATER UPDATE
A Level 2 Low Water Condition has been issued for the Salmon River Watershed. The Moira, Napanee, and Prince Edward Watersheds remain in a Level 1 Low Water Condition.
Localized rains over the last few weeks have helped to relieve some stress in areas. Recent rainfall has helped to revitalize grass and vegetation, but has had a minimal impact on water flows and levels.

WATERSHED CONDITIONS STATEMENT ISSUED BY QUINTE CONSERVATION
Unforecasted heavy downpours have caused unexpected localized flooding on roadways, low lying areas, and on small creeks and streams.
There have been reports of roadway flooding around the Hwy 401 corridor. Individuals are advised to exercise caution and avoid driving through deep or fast flowing water.
