QUINTE CONSERVATION MAINTAINS FLOOD WARNING FOR LAKE ONTARIO AND THE BAY OF QUINTE – UPDATE #2
Lake Ontario has reached the record daily peak of 75.88 m which was experienced from May 25 to May 28, 2017. This peak is 82 cm above average for this time of year. Water levels will continue to slowly rise, reaching its peak within 1-3 weeks.

QUINTE CONSERVATION ISSUES A FLOOD WARNING FOR LAKE ONTARIO AND THE BAY OF QUINTE
Lake Ontario water levels have been quickly rising over the past week. Lake Ontario will continue to rise as high inflows and reduced outflows continue.
As of May 15, 2019, Lake Ontario was recorded at 68 cm above average for this time of year, which is 14 cm below the recorded level for May 15, 2017. This amount is 17 cm below the peak recorded on May 25, 2017.

FLOOD WATCH ISSUED FOR ROBLIN LAKE
Roblin Lake in Ameliasburgh, Prince Edward County, has surpassed the 1 in 100 year water levels. There are no known structures within the 1 in 100 year floodplain, however, some properties in the area are experiencing flooded lawns.
Quinte Conservation owns a small water control structure at the outlet of Roblin Lake. There are currently no logs in the structure which allows for continuous outflow from the lake.

UPDATE #2 FOR FLOOD WATCH ON LAKE ONTARIO AND THE BAY OF QUINTE
Lake Ontario water levels have been gradually rising over the last few weeks. Forecasted rain tonight and early next week will contribute to a change towards more rapidly rising water levels.
As of May 8, 2019, Lake Ontario was recorded at 55 cm above average for this time of year, which is 21 cm below the recorded level for May 8, 2017. This amount is 33 cm below the peak recorded on May 25, 2017.
