QUINTE CONSERVATION DOWNGRADES FLOOD OUTLOOK STATEMENT
Flows on all river and stream systems are starting to decline but will remain high due to snow melt in the northern parts of Quinte’s Watershed and widespread rainfall.
Major flooding is not a concern on any of Quinte Conservation’s watercourses.
Residents are reminded to stay away from water as fast flows, unstable banks, cold water temperatures make for dangerous conditions.
