UPDATES TO QUINTE CONSERVATION ANNUAL PASS SYSTEM

Quinte Conservation has installed electronic gates at Vanderwater and Little Bluff Conservation Areas. The goal of the installation of these gate systems is to manage visitor numbers and mitigate the reoccurring issues of vandalism, illegal dumping, and loitering – which will help to reduce the demand of already-limited staff.

QUINTE CONSERVATION WILL BE OPERATING THE THIRD DEPOT LAKE DAM TO FACILITATE DAM INSPECTION

Quinte Conservation staff will be performing dam operations at Third Depot Lake Dam starting the week of September 6, 2022. The lake will be slowly lowered by approximately two metres to facilitate an inspection of the dam.

WATER SAFETY STATEMENT ISSUED FOR THE QUINTE CONSERVATION WATERSHED DUE TO LARGE AMOUNTS OF RAIN AND SEASONALLY HIGH WATER LEVELS
