Francine MacDonald, who is the Coordinator of the Invading Species Awareness Program for the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, will be speaking at the Empire Theatre on Saturday, April 17, from 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. The topic of her presentation will be "The Aliens Among Us - Alien Threats to the Bay of Quinte & the Great Lakes."

Each year, the Canadian Federation of University Women (Belleville) hosts a "Spring Forum" on a current topic. Our 2010 committee has identified Invasive Species as an issue of particular local interest - there will time for questions and discussion. Admission is only $5, with tickets available at Greenley's Books in Belleville, or Books on the Bay, Picton -- or at the door.
