Quinte Conservation is thrilled with a recent donation from Union Gas to its education programs. Quinte Conservation’s Education Coordinator Maya Navrot says, “We’re excited about the education programs we will be able to offer our communities with this donation and pleased to continue this partnership with Union Gas. This summer we will be hosting a series of Family Nature Days across our watershed with a focus on learning about local wildlife.”

Phil Langlois, Union Gas Utility Services Construction Manager, presented the $2,000 cheque to Quinte Conservation on July 8th. He says “The Family Nature Days will help educate children and their families on the importance of preserving our natural surroundings. At Union Gas, we’re proud to support the important work that Quinte Conservation is doing for environmental education in this community.”

Quinte Conservation has been working in partnership with Union Gas to deliver education programs to local children such as Stream of Dreams and Yellow Fish Road for the past four years.

Wild About Wildlife Family Nature Days will be offered on select days in July and August.
