Union Gas Donates to Quinte Conservation's Education Programs

Quinte Conservation is thrilled with a recent donation from the Union Gas and The Spectra Energy Foundation to its education programs. Quinte Conservation’s Education Coordinator Maya Navrot says, “We’re excited about the education programs we will be able to offer our communities with this donation. We are planning a series of Family Nature Days across our watershed with a focus on conserving Monarch Butterflies.”

Phil Langlois from Union Gas presented the $2,000 cheque to Quinte Conservation last month. He says, “One of the things that makes Union Gas such a great company to work for is our strong commitment to the communities we serve. One of our core company values is environmental conservation.”

Quinte Conservation has been working in partnership with Union Gas to deliver education programs to local children such as Stream of Dreams and Yellow Fish Road for the past three years.

Monarch Madness Family Nature Days will be offered on select days in July and August. Check www.quinteconservation.ca for details.
